First day of First Grade!

Eli's first day of 1st grade was last Monday! I'm happy to announce that he loves 1st grade and his teacher! Yay!!!!

Eli's Trophy

Eli got his trophy on Thursday. He was so exited to meet the mayor!

Laissez les bons temps rouler

Let the good times roll! We had a blast at our first Mardi Gras tonight.It was raining when we first got their so we nabbed a spot under the overpass! My pictures didn't turn out too good because it's at night. Eli got an awesome spear, and Sam got a really cool king's scepter, along with hundreds of beads, cups, stuffed animals, and flowers. Don't know what time they will go to sleep tonight they are so amped up!

It's beginning to feel like Spring!

It's beginning to feel like springtime here in Southeast Louisiana! The boys are taking full advantage of the backyard again! They love being outside and play all day.

Eli the Artist

Eli drew a picture for a Keep Mandeville Beautiful art contest. His picture was one of 4 Kindergarten pictures that was selected to be entered into the contest. Now he will compete against the other schools in Mandeville. I might be a little bias, but I think he did a pretty good job!

The Eli Show

I know that many of you really miss watching Eli's dinosaur movies so, enjoy the show!

Halloween Fun!

We had a great time trick-or-treating in a neighborhood by Eli's school! They really know how to hand out the candy here. The boys got treat bags full of candy and toys from a couple different houses, and there was one house that had fresh popped popcorn and the Saint's game on a big screen in the front yard! It was a little rough for Eli having school the next day, he wanted to stay up and eat all his candy.


Eli is sooo tired, but he had to finish that one piece!





Yes, that would be a lollipop stuck to Sam's hair!

Eli started Kindergarten this morning! I can't believe he is growing up so fast. Jody is having to take him and I will be picking him up, but Jody was nice enough to take a few pictures this morning and e-mail them to me! I will let everyone know how it went this afternoon!

Sam being Sam...

Sam has been having lots of fun lately. Eli now has some competition on his hands! Sam makes a great rock star and also found out how much fun the Wonder Horse is!

lucky me!

I actually won something! This NEVER happens. I played the game that huggies is doing and won a little tykes sprinkler ball. The boys had so much fun playing with it. I did have to turn it off when Eli started to try to ride his bike through it, then Sam decided he needed to drive his Cozy Coupe by it.

Seafood Fest Fun!

Over the July 4th weekend we went down to the Mandeville Seafood Festival. We had a great time, there was great music, food, and fun! Eli especially loved the beach!
