This morning we went to the Zoo in New Orleans, it was a lot of fun. We saw everything from a peacock walking around to white tigers. I think Sam's favorite thing was the Elephants or the leopards. Eli's was definitely the dinosaur exhibit (yes I said dinosaurs) This was not Sam's favorite thing, poor baby was shaking so hard he was so scared! We will have to go back again another day! Just a little warning, I didn't do Oscar worthy work making the videos, they can get a little rough at times! :)

First Day!!!
Yesterday was my first day of work at my new job, so it was also Eli's first day at a new school and Sam's first day of school ever! They were both really excited. Eli had a great day (I am in his room right now) Sam had lots of fun most of the time. Nap time was not fun for him, I could hear him crying for mama and my baa all the way down the hall. Hopefully it will get easier for him.

Backyard fun!
This weekend was beautiful so we decided to take full advantage of it. We spread a big blanket out in the back yard and enjoyed the day with some bird watching, playing, grilling, and a picnic! There are a lot of birds that live in our backyard, along with 2 squirrels. We even have a bird nest in the bushes along our fence. I can't quite get a picture of them because I don't want to get pecked by a mad mommy cardinal!

Easter Fun!
I am so happy that Jody had the idea to go back to Wimberley and Buda for Easter and surprise everyone. We had lots of fun spending time with our family!
Eli will stop to smile, but he is still looking for more eggs!
Sam is a born Easter Egg hunter! Look at him put his eggs in his basket!
Found one!!!
Watch out here comes Sam!
Isn't Eli the cutest little bunny?
Fishing fun with Grammy!
The Egg hunting pro, look at all those eggs!
Daddy and another cute bunny!
Maybe there's one under here...
Surprise!!!
We had a lot of fun surprising the families for the Easter Holidays! Sneaking up to the front doors of Grammy, PawPaw, and Nana's houses was so much fun to see their expressions.

The car ride from Mandeville, LA to Wimberley, TX. It is such a good thing the boys are so good in the car!

The boys had a great time playing with their cousins again. I think they missed seeing them!
We loved seeing everyone and will see you again in May!

Thank you Grammy and PawPaw!
Thanks Grammy and PawPaw, Sam and Eli loved their Easter Presents. Eli got out all of his other dinosaur "setups" and made a giant Dinosaur Valley in our livingroom. Sam really liked his Easter Bunny, he carried it around all afternoon, later he really got into kicking it! We love and miss everyone!

Letter of the Day!
I have been keeping up with Eli and his pre-k since we left Rocking Horse. I have to say I am really impressed at how much he loves to sit down and "play school" everyday where he calls me teacher. I know that Eli is smart but he surprises and impresses me everyday with his patients for learning and how he wants to learn more and more, he will be reading before we know it!

Today we matched the beginning sounds of pictures to the letters that they start with. Eli did this all by himself, I didn't have to help him at all!

Today's letter of the day was letter H! Didn't he do a good job writing his letter and coloring, he is really taking his time and trying to stay in the lines. I am really proud of him and how good he does with learning, he is like a little sponge taking it all in! :)
